    This policy covers the IEEE Student Branch MMCOE website. The branch is a volunteer student body under IEEE Pune Section, hosted at Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Engineering. IEEE's own websites (ieee.org, IEEE Xplore, the membership system) are governed by the IEEE Privacy Policy, not this one.

    What we collect

    • Contact form. The name, email address, subject and message you type. We use it only to reply to you.
    • Mailing list. The email address you submit, used only to send branch announcements.
    • Aggregate usage statistics, if analytics are enabled for this site — page paths, referrer, approximate country, browser and device type. These are counted in aggregate and are not used to identify individuals.

    We do not collect payment details on this website. IEEE membership dues are paid to IEEE on ieee.org.

    Third parties

    • Form submissions are delivered to the branch inbox through a form-relay service, or by opening a draft in your own mail client.
    • Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
    • The campus map is a Google Maps embed and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
    • Analytics, where enabled, are privacy-focused and cookie-free, or Google Analytics with IP anonymisation.

    We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the branch committee and the branch counselor.

    Cookies

    This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Embedded third-party content (the map) may set its own cookies when it loads.

    Retention and your rights

    Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and for branch records. You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including removing you from the mailing list — by writing to ieee.studentbranch@mmcoe.edu.in.

    Photographs

    Photographs taken at branch events may be published on this website and on branch social media. If you appear in a photograph and want it removed, email us and we will take it down.

    Children

    This website is aimed at university students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

    Changes

    If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
